2013

“Tomorrow you may bring about the destruction of your world. Tomorrow you may sing in Paradise above the smoking ruins of your world-cities. But tonight I would like to think of one man, a man without name or country, a man whom I respect because he has absolutely nothing in common with you.
MYSELF.
Tonight I shall meditate upon that which I am.”

[henry miller - black spring]

Happy New Year (2013) for all!!
Mis mejores deseos :)

“A song is an excuse to get to the chorus and the chorus is just an excuse to get to the breakdown.” - Nile Rodgers

Last letter

“I know there are people who say all these things don’t happen. And know these will all be stories someday and our pictures will become old photographs and we’ll all become somebody’s mom or dad. But right now these moments are not stories. This is happening. And in this moment, I swear we are infinite.”

Bonjour!

Rebel my wheels

I never lose my ability to rebel
and I wouldnt be able to create anything if I stop.

Hannah Ntsch - Alone in the light

too loud for words and too shy for the world

Hanna Nitsch was born in Fribourg, Germany in 1974. Studying philosophy and literature in German at the University of Fribourg in 1994, Nitsch attended the Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe. The artist creates a glowing sometimes-strident color as the contours appear to dissolve into the figures making them seem disconnected as they fly, glide or float on paper, portraying a wobbly sense, similar to childlike vulnerability. She apparently paints mostly her own kids. Some of these ink drawings are really big too: 6 x 5 feet tall! So you can imagine their impact.

Gustavo Rimada Artwork

"Born in Torreon, Mexico in 1981, I am the youngest of four. My memories of Mexico are few but of those I do remember I was constantly drawing. Whenever, wherever. My mother reminded me of my gift all the time as I grew up. Always encouraging me and enabling me.

After Army, I was given two huge pieces of MDO board to paint on. It was truly the beginning of my journey back into art. My heart and hand took over. I sketched, I painted till late in the night. Painting on everything from shoes to bags. Within a month I filled a sketchbook full of Elvgren pinups and Olivia paintings.

Soon after all that work, I started working at a tattoo shop. The tattoo world inspired my artwork a whole new life and passion. Wouldn't trade it for anything. I truly eat, breath and sleep art. I work hard and will continue to do so whatever it may be.
Last but not least I am a devoted father, husband and family man but non the less a passionate artist."

Christmas Day

As tempestades interrompem muitos negócios, visto que não é a argamassa que mantém juntos os ladrilhos das suas amizades nem de sua família.

Um feliz Natal!
