There is this thinking that not committing one particular sin conveys on you the special status of “pure”. You’ve had pride and anger and jealousy and all sorts of stuff, but not doing that one thing makes someone a different category. There are no different levels of saved, just saved.
It’s not the load that breaks you down. It’s the way you carry it.
